Please read these terms carefully before renting any trailer from Hook-Up Trailer Rentals.

By renting equipment from Hook-Up Trailer Rentals ("Company"), you ("Renter") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your rental.
1. Rental Agreement
This rental agreement begins when you take possession of the trailer and ends when the trailer is returned to our designated location in the same condition as received, normal wear and tear excepted.
You must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and provide proof of insurance for your towing vehicle. A credit card is required for payment and security deposit.
2. Renter Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the trailer only for its intended purpose and within its weight capacity
- Inspect the trailer before use and report any damage immediately
- Ensure your vehicle is properly equipped to tow the rented trailer
- Follow all traffic laws and safe towing practices
- Return the trailer clean and in the same condition as received
- Not allow anyone else to operate the trailer without prior written consent
- Not use the trailer for illegal activities or transport hazardous materials
3. Payment and Fees
Rental fees are due at the time of pickup. A security deposit will be authorized on your credit card and released upon satisfactory return of the trailer.
Additional charges may apply for:
- Late returns ($25 per day)
- Excessive cleaning ($50-$150)
- Damage repairs (actual cost)
- Lost or stolen equipment (replacement cost)
- Delivery and pickup services (varies by location)
4. Damage and Liability
You are responsible for all damage to the trailer during the rental period, regardless of cause. This includes damage from accidents, theft, vandalism, or acts of nature.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hook-Up Trailer Rentals from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the trailer.
We strongly recommend checking with your insurance provider about trailer coverage or purchasing our optional damage protection plan.
5. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before pickup time will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup may be subject to a cancellation fee.
We reserve the right to cancel rentals due to equipment failure, safety concerns, or severe weather conditions. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.
6. Equipment Condition
All trailers are inspected and maintained regularly. However, you acknowledge that rental equipment may show signs of previous use and normal wear.
Report any mechanical issues immediately. Do not continue using equipment that appears unsafe or damaged.
7. Limitation of Liability
Hook-Up Trailer Rentals' liability is limited to the rental fee paid. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including but not limited to lost profits, delays, or business interruption.
Some states do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hamilton County, Tennessee.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and will apply to future rentals.
